Our Faith Journey
The Christian Reformed Church traces its roots to the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century, particularly influenced by the teachings of John Calvin. Formally established in 1857 in the United States by a group of Dutch immigrants who separated from the Reformed Church in America, the CRC was founded on a desire to maintain strict adherence to Reformed theology and biblical principles.
